Develop a love for learning
Who doesn’t like games? New concepts and skills can be introduced and practiced in a low-pressure and engaging manner through interactive games. By developing a love for learning at an early age, children grow internal motivation which is essential for creativity and the development of a growth mindset.
Use multisensory activities
Children are individuals. And individuals inevitably learn in different ways. Often it’s the children that naturally learn in more creative or active ways that struggle most at school. Our resources bridge that divide by reinforcing the same concepts in multiple ways so every child can learn the concepts.
Grade for success
By choosing the appropriately graded resource for each child, teachers and parents can work with children across a wide range of abilities. They can start where children find learning ‘easy’ and challenge them step-by-step so that they can experience success regularly which builds into their confidence.
Simpler is better!
Teachers and parents are superheroes! Giving so much of themselves, they shouldn’t need to use more time and energy to prepare engaging resources. We want to give more life back to them by making every resource quick and easy to use. Most activities are printable and those that aren’t are easy to create or source.
View learners holistically
Many challenges that children experience do not start in the classroom. Whether it’s trouble on the playground or difficult home circumstances, they often manifest themselves in other ways. Helping learners to cope with these underlying issues can help them manage emotions and boost academic performance.
Relationship first
Whether from a teacher, parent or anyone else, children learn best from those they trust. We believe this is the first step in the learning process – even before content! We hope our resources are fun ways of bringing people together so that they can learn about both the content as well as each other.
